Directions & Transportation

From New York City  Travel north on I-87 and use Exit 21 (Catskill). After the toll booth, proceed to the traffic light and take a left. Then take the first right onto Route 23 West (about 1/10 mile). Proceed on Route 23 just over 23 miles and take a left onto State Route 296. Catskill Lodge is located 1.4 miles on the right, up on a hill. If you reach the blinking yellow light in Hensonville, you've gone too far. 

From the West  Catskill Lodge is located about one hour from Oneonta, New York. Travel on Route 23 until you reach the town of Windham. Just less than 3/4 of a mile past town, take a right onto State Route 296. Catskill Lodge is located 1.4 miles on the right, up on a hill. If you reach the blinking yellow light in Hensonville, you've gone too far. 

Bus  The Adirondack Trailways bus leaves twice daily (8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.) from Port Authority in Manhattan and drops off in Hensonville, steps from Catskill Lodge.

Train  Take Amtrak to Hudson, New York ($38 and up up from New York City). A car rental or taxi is needed for the 28-mile trip from Hudson to Catskill Lodge.

Taxi  For transportation to/from train stations and other points, Majestic Mountain Taxi (518-734-4096) serves a wide area surrounding Windham. The fleet includes minivans, a 14-passenger van, and a 6-person luxury SUV.
